Jaipur International Airport has officially launched its brand-new Terminal 1, dedicated exclusively to international flights. Located in Sanganer, this revamped facility promises to elevate the travel experience for international passengers.

Design and Cultural Significance

The terminal showcases Jaipur’s rich cultural heritage through intricate motifs, artistic representations of camels, elephants, peacocks and palaces. The vibrant interior, featuring shades of orange and purple, reflects Jaipur’s unique aesthetic. Traditional wood carvings and “jaali” work complement the design.

Sustainability and Infrastructure

Covering 128,000 square feet, the terminal prioritizes sustainability, incorporating recyclable materials in its construction and operations. This eco-friendly approach aligns with global trends in responsible airport design.

Inauguration

Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma inaugurated the terminal on October 27, marking its operational debut with an Air India Express flight from Dubai.
