Doctor reveals when injured Tottenham player can be expected back

Over 20 players have suffered injuries for Tottenham this season, making it a season blighted by ailments.

Fraser Forster, a stand-in goalkeeper for Spurs, is one of them; he hasn’t been available since mid-February.

The 35-year-old goalie will miss a few months of play due to a foot fracture that he received during training. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been any good news for the Lilywhites. Dr. Rajpal Brar, an expert in injuries, thinks Forster may have encountered a setback in his recovery.

In an interview with Tottenham News, Dr. Brar, a sports scientist and physical therapist, gave an update on the Englishman’s condition. Forster, who had hoped to be back in April, will now need to recuperate until the conclusion of the season.

He hypothesized that setbacks or delayed elements of Forster’s recuperation could be the cause of his protracted absence. Dr. Brar continues by saying that he anticipates returning for the preseason workouts. He declared: “He may return in April, according to reports, but he is now expected to stay out until the end of the season. “I usually advise against using long-term timetables because there are a lot of unknown variables. It’s possible that he had a setback in his rehabilitation or that some aspects of it just took longer, in which case it wouldn’t make sense to send him back right away. “In the latter scenario, you must maintain your patience and logical approach to avoid further setbacks.

“He should be back ahead of pre-season training.“

The former Celtic goalie has missed three games already this season because of back problems. This is not the first time he has missed action. With more than a year left on the agreement, the England international is under contract with the Lilywhites through June 30 of the next year. Forster has only made one appearance for Tottenham so far this season; he played ninety minutes in the EFL Cup second-round loss to Fulham in August of last year.
